Fish meal : We're committed to ensuring the freshness of our fish meal. We use fish meal made from fish (such as sardines and saury) caught in the waters off Japan. Histamine levels increase as the fish loses freshness, but while high-quality imported fish meal contains 500-1000 ppm, domestically produced fish meal contains less than 200 ppm. Because the ingredients are fresh, you can use it with confidence. Plus, it's highly palatable and digestible, so your beloved carp will love it.
Wheat Germ : Made with premium raw wheat germ.
Wheat germ is rich in vitamins and minerals , including vitamin E and linoleic acid, and makes up only 2% of the entire wheat kernel.
Generally, wheat germ is used as defatted germ after the oil is removed during the manufacturing process.
The raw wheat germ used in our products is rich in intact germ oil .
As a result, it contains approximately 35 times more vitamin E than defatted wheat germ. Vitamin E has a strong antioxidant effect and is effective in improving disease resistance in carp.
JUN Koi Food is a proven Koi food.
The recipe was developed a quarter century ago and has been loved not only by the Japanese hobbyist but also by the international Koi lovers. Our farm in Hawaii, USA has been used and proved the results with many champion Koi.
●How to feed
Feed approximately 1–2% of the fish's body weight per day. For each feeding, provide an amount that can be consumed within about 5–10 minutes.
