●Features
HI-SILK 21 is a feed that contains an abundance of fresh pupae. Top Nishikigoi breeders all say, "To grow big and beautifully, it's all about pupae!" A technician from a feed manufacturer also says, "The goal of making Nishikigoi feed is pupae!"
So why is pupae good? Because the protein (amino acid) composition of pupae is closest to that of Nishikigoi , so they can absorb the protein of the pupae naturally and effortlessly . For Nishikigoi that are fed only processed feed, high-quality pupae can be said to be the "best natural feed ."
Freshness is crucial when it comes to pupae given to Nishikigoi.
The pupae used in HI-SILK 21 are only sourced from trusted silk mills. The purchased pupae are thoroughly dried and stored in a low-temperature warehouse, and only small stocks are kept to prevent loss of freshness .
Another important ingredient is silk powder . Silk powder is a powder made by dissolving raw silk in acid and hydrolyzing it. Silk is made up of a protein called "fibroin." This protein contains many amino acids essential for living things, such as alanine, glycine, and tyrosine. Glycine, in particular, is found in amounts eight times higher than in milk and six times higher than in eggs. These amino acids enhance liver function, detoxify the body, and lower blood cholesterol. When liver function declines, koi skin becomes yellow and cloudy . ●How to give
Use in water temperatures above 18°C (64.4℉).
Please adjust the amount you give according to the water temperature and the condition of your koi.
When used in combination with HI-SILK 21 Koi Color Enhancer from the same series, it will create a beautiful, voluminous koi.
If the water temperature is low, please use the HI-SILK 21 Koi (potato and germ) from the same series.
